Re-engagement

(except from bodily or mental infirmity not being able to continue to perform his duty, such being certified by the Colonial Burgeon) he will refund the amount which shall

have been paid for his passage to the Colony.

Should the Lightkeepers wish to remain in the

Service of the Colony after the expiration of three years, they may do so subject to the approval of the Government.

In which case their salaries will be increased to $1,140

$1,080 and $1,020 per annum respectively, forfeiting the right to return passage and they will become entitled to begin to count time for pension under the liongkong Pension Einute, dating their commencement of service from the date

of their original mbarkation for the Colony.

If their conduct has been satisfactory on comple-

tion of 5 years service from the date of emuarkation, the pay shall be $1,260, $1,200 and $1,140 per amun

respectively.

Medical attendance.

They will be provided with medical attendance free.

If admitted to Government Civil Hospital, for

treatment, they will have to pay hospital fees, according

to following scale:-

Prowing salaries under:

$80 per month

50 cents per diem

$80 to $100 per month

Sick leave in excess of 30 days in one year (A.D.)

shall be deducted from vacation leave.
